GUNNEDAH SHIRE - JOBS CAMPAIGN

With its successful and diverse economy, Gunnedah Shire has plentiful job opportunities for skilled workers across a variety of sectors including mining, agricultural, trades, and professional. Job and lifestyle opportunities were leveraged by showcasing genuine human interest stories from residents, workers and business owners to attract new residents and investment in the Shire.

NSW HEALTH - PARENTING EDUCATION

NSW Health Parenting Education To be asked to help in the creation of a video to stop the decline in parents attending antenatal classes was one of my most rewarding projects of 2019. The strategy of having parents who had undertaken the course and midwife educators outlining the process achieved results that amazed everyone.
The video showcased parents with their beautiful babies or young children
telling their stories. This had a huge impact and supported with a well planed digital and online strategy, stopped the decline in class numbers. The campaigns research was hugely successful with over 65% of views said the communication was inspiring.

CITY OF NEWCASTLE - LET'S PLAY

Engaged by the City of Newcastle to grow community awareness of the recent opening of four new outdoor facilities. These outdoor facilities ensure the community can get out and enjoy the active lifestyle we all love in Newcastle more easily. Four social media videos were created and were well received across the community and council.

AACo - MARK BLAZER AUSTRALIAN INTRODUCTION

Creating the introductory video for one of Australia's oldest companies was very rewarding. Mark Blazer, the co-owner of one the world's finest restaurants Noma, located in Denmark.

ORICA BLAST IQ - GLOBAL LAUNCH

From its Newcastle home base, KWCS collaborates with Orica teams around the world to develop branding and communication platforms for future vision projects. Working closely with their international marketing manager and presenting to Orica’s international board, the KWCS team of designers, animators, VR specialists and writers provide nimble turnaround as technology rapidly accelerates and business communication constantly changes.



ORICA - AVATEL GLOBAL LAUNCH

Asked by Orica to direct and collaborate globally with Epiroc Denmark, Orica Denver and the Australian project management team, to produce the video communication for a world first product, Avatel. This first-of-its-kind innovation enables a single operator to prepare and charge explosives from the safety of an enclosed cabin, several metres from the face and out of harm’s way. Combined with Orica’s LOADPlus™ smart control system and Subtek™ Control bulk emulsion, customers can enjoy complete and repeatable control over blast energy from design through to execution. 

NORTHPARKES - RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN

Northparkes is a small but successful gold and copper mine in central New South Wales. Their challenge was to recruit top quality staff in a fiercely competitive job market. The KWCS solution was to tell real, engaging stories about the fantastic workplace and lifestyle opportunities. Moving stories, told by real people were filmed and photographed over five days. Online advertising and electronic direct marketing carried personal success stories directly to mine workers, many of whom were from fly in fly out jobs and looking for work life balance. EDM open rate 28.91% with click through rate 14.28% website applications and registrations doubled.

MIHIRE LAUNCH

Engaged by a Hunter region start-up business, to help deliver the branding, brand  communication and direction for the Mihire launch. An app that allows members to hire and share items locally.
